Projects, Policies, and Controls API
Governance Service exposes APIs for the core governance hierarchy: organizations contain projects, policies contain controls, and applied policies connect policy requirements to a project.
Projects
Section titled “Projects”Projects represent governed systems or workflows. Project APIs support creation, listing, update, archive behavior, and project-specific governance state.
Policies
Section titled “Policies”Policies define reusable governance requirements. The policy library is shared at the organization level and can be applied to one or more projects.
Controls
Section titled “Controls”Controls are the individual requirements in a policy. After policy application, controls become project-specific work items that can receive declarations, reviews, indicators, evidence, and status changes.
