Membership Management
Membership controls who can access organization and project workflows. Governance Studio is the preferred place for administrators to manage normal project membership.
Organization Membership
Section titled “Organization Membership”Organization membership is for platform administration. Organization owners can manage broad platform access and project administration.
Use organization-level access sparingly because it affects multiple projects.
Project Membership
Section titled “Project Membership”Project membership grants access to a specific project. Add users to the projects where they need to work and assign the least role that supports their responsibilities.
Integrator Guidance
Section titled “Integrator Guidance”Integrations that manage membership should follow the same principles as Governance Studio:
- Preserve the intended organization and project scope.
- Avoid promoting users to broader roles than needed.
- Record who requested the membership change.
- Reconcile access when users leave a team or project.
