Integrity Service supports content-addressed records for governance evidence. These records help the platform preserve stable references to evidence used in declarations, reviews, manifests, lineage, and certificates.
Why Evidence Records Matter
Section titled “Why Evidence Records Matter”Stable evidence references help auditors confirm that a later credential or manifest is tied to the same evidence that was reviewed. They also make lineage easier to inspect because related records can be connected over time.
User Expectations
Section titled “User Expectations”Users should continue to work through Governance Studio for declarations, reviews, attachments, indicators, and credentials. Integrity Service supports those workflows behind the scenes.
Good Practices
Section titled “Good Practices”- Keep evidence meaningful and limited to what the control decision needs.
- Avoid uploading sensitive material that is unrelated to the governance claim.
- Confirm evidence is complete before issuing certificates.
- Treat evidence records as part of the audit trail after they support a credential or manifest.
