Governance Studio First Steps
After signing in, start with a project. A project is the workspace where a team applies policies, manages controls, captures evidence, and monitors governance status for a specific system.
Recommended Setup Order
Section titled “Recommended Setup Order”- Confirm your organization membership and role.
- Create or select a project.
- Add project team members and assign roles.
- Review the policy library.
- Apply a policy to the project.
- Open the applied policy and review its controls.
- Add declarations, reviews, attachments, and indicators as needed.
Administrator Checks
Section titled “Administrator Checks”Before inviting broad usage, administrators should verify:
- The identity provider login flow works for the intended user population.
- Organization owner and project owner permissions are assigned correctly.
- API key generation is available only to users who should create integrations.
- Storage-backed uploads work for evidence attachments.
- Integrity and lineage features are enabled only when Integrity Service is configured.
