Backup and Restore

Customer operators are responsible for backing up platform data according to their environment and compliance requirements.

  • PostgreSQL databases used by Auth Service, Governance Service, and Integrity Service.
  • Object storage buckets or containers used for evidence attachments.
  • Blob storage used by Integrity Service.
  • Helm values and secrets files, stored securely.
  • Release manifest and package metadata for the installed version.

Always take a PostgreSQL backup before upgrade. Also preserve current Helm values and the installed release manifest so rollback decisions are traceable.

Restore procedures depend on customer infrastructure. Validate restore in a non-production environment before relying on it for production recovery.
