Back up Governance Platform before upgrades, configuration changes, and maintenance that could affect stored governance evidence.

  • PostgreSQL databases used by platform services.
  • Object storage used for attachments and evidence artifacts.
  • Customer Helm values and rendered release configuration.
  • Secrets required to restore service access.
  • Mirrored images and chart packages for restricted environments.

Restore platform data, secrets, chart values, and registry artifacts together so services agree on identity, storage, keys, and data state.

After restore, validate sign-in, project access, attachments, reports, indicators, lineage, and certificates before returning the platform to normal use.

Backup frequency, retention, encryption, and restore testing are customer operational responsibilities. Keep restore procedures aligned with the customer’s business continuity requirements.
