Policy Manifests and Certificates

Integrity Service helps create the durable records behind policy manifests and compliance certificates.

A policy manifest summarizes the policy context and supporting governance evidence for a claim. It helps users and auditors understand what evidence was considered when a certificate or governance record was produced.

Compliance certificates represent issued governance claims. Integrity Service supports certificate issuance and credential status workflows, while Governance Studio presents the user-facing credential views.

When a credential is revoked, users should no longer rely on it as active evidence. Revocation can happen when governance work is archived, a decision changes, or the certificate should no longer be trusted.

  • Confirm project, policy, and subject information before issuing a certificate.
  • Review related declarations, reviews, indicators, and lineage records.
  • Keep certificate issuance aligned with the organization’s approval process.
  • Revoke credentials when they should no longer be accepted.
