Deployment Overview
Governance Platform is deployed with the Governance Platform Helm chart. The chart installs the platform services that support Governance Studio, Auth Service, Governance Service, Integrity Service, PDF generation, and optional platform-managed PostgreSQL.
Install Modes
Section titled “Install Modes”- Connected install pulls released charts and images from the configured registries.
- Air-gapped install uses mirrored images and packaged chart artifacts supplied with the release.
Use the release manifest to confirm the platform version, chart versions, image tags, and image digests before installing or upgrading.
Required Customer Decisions
Section titled “Required Customer Decisions”Before deployment, choose:
- Identity provider mode: Auth0, Microsoft Entra, or Keycloak.
- Domain, ingress, TLS, and DNS settings.
- PostgreSQL mode: external database or chart-managed database where allowed.
- Object storage provider for evidence attachments and related artifacts.
- Key-management provider for signing and credential workflows.
- Image registry strategy for connected or restricted environments.
- Backup, restore, monitoring, and support ownership.
Deployment Boundaries
Section titled “Deployment Boundaries”The deployment chart configures platform runtime services. It does not replace customer identity governance, infrastructure monitoring, database administration, or secret-management policy.
Keep customer-specific secrets in the approved secret system and keep release documentation free of environment-specific secret values.
